Since 1991, the National Investment Center for the Seniors Housing & Care Industries (NIC) has served as a valuable resource to lenders, investors, developers/operators and others interested in meeting the housing and healthcare needs of America's seniors.
Each year, the NIC Annual Conference attracts more than 1,000 executive-level decision-makers, bringing the financial and development/operations sectors together in productive exchange. Proceeds from this conference help fund a range of research-based information to develop better benchmarks for investing in this growing market.
In 2000, NIC launched a new major initiative to help shape and address the needs of the industry: the nation's first graduate program focusing on the business of seniors housing and care with Johns Hopkins University.
